Your Career Guidance Questions, Answered
-
While we work with students at all stages of the Senior Cycle, the absolute best time to start is during Transition Year (TY). Making a strategic investment in picking Leaving Certificate subjects early ensures your teenager meets necessary course requirements for third-level entries and maximises their potential points from day one of 5th Year. However, we can support your teenager at any stage including those in 6th Year. For 6th Year students, we recommend a session before the initial CAO deadline or ahead of the Change of Mind window.

Our advanced, online psychometric profiling assesses a student’s core interests, learning styles, cognitive aptitudes, and natural competencies. Moving past basic school checklists, we analyse this data through an elite corporate talent acquisition lens. This objective insight helps us cross-reference your teenager's unique talents with the current job market and over 800 CAO courses to map out a clear, viable career roadmap.

Yes, absolutely. Our Strategic Leaving Cert Subject Selection package is custom-built for TY students. We combine their individual psychometric test results with insights from their Junior Cycle performance. This allows us to pinpoint the exact subject combinations where they have the highest natural aptitude to excel, while strictly auditing minimum entry requirements for future pathways.

School guidance counsellors do fantastic work, but heavy student caseloads mean individual time is often limited. Our service offers a dedicated, comprehensive 1.5 hour 1:1 consultation backed by 15+ years of multinational corporate recruitment leadership. We don't just look at what a student can study; we look at the reality of an AI-driven job market, giving your teenager elite hiring insights and a stress-free, fully optimised CAO Order of Preference (1 to 10).
-
Yes. Future career pathways are rarely one-size-fits-all. During our strategy session, we demystify the entire higher education ecosystem. Depending on your child's goals, we explore entry requirements and application frameworks for the CAO, UCAS (UK university application system), European tertiary systems, Post-Leaving Cert (PLC) courses, and apprenticeships.
-
The process begins at home with an intuitive online assessment completed at your teenager's own pace. Following this, I personally dive into the data to build a custom framework and report. We then meet for a comprehensive 1:1 strategy session. You will leave the consultation completely clear on your final strategy and receive a robust, personalised 40-page report unique to your child.
